About Sharon

Sharon is a wildlife warrior, conservationist, fitness fanatic, ultra-endurance athlete, adventurer, adrenalin junkie, serial entrepreneur, coach and trainer, motivational speaker and storyteller.

She completed a 21 day 877km run from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth for cancer awareness in 2017, running an average of 42km per day for 21 consecutive days.

Sharon completed a Guinness World Record on 1 January 2021 by running the most consecutive half marathon distances by a female, 102 consecutive days.

In 2021 she completed a 21 day running expedition to and through 11 of the rhino bearing game reserves in the Eastern Cape.

She also completed 3 Comrades marathons, 3 Two Oceans marathons, an Ironman, numerous 3-4 day stage trail runs, numerous other marathons and ultra-marathons, both on the road and on trails.

Her next running expedition is starting on 22 September 2022 when she will be running to and through 24 rhino bearing game reserves, starting from the Donkin Reserve in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) and making her way to the Lebombo Border Post outside the town of Komati Poort in Mpumalanga via the Eastern Cape, Wild Coast and Kwa-Zulu Natal.

An outdoor enthusiast and passionate about people, tourism, conservation and the environment, Sharon combines all these passions into a crazy blend of contagious energy and a zest for life.

Sharon is also a motivational and inspirational speaker with many funny anecdotes to share with her audience, especially running through Big 5 game reserves.
